We are seeking an Inspector who will be responsible to inspect and/or audit in-coming products, assemblies, subassemblies and final product to ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and standards. We will rely on you to perform the following:
? Inspect incoming product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality system for compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.
? Back-up for First Article Inspections.
? Examine company's records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
? Perform inspection activities to assure that the delivered products are in strict conformance to documentation.
? Use inspection, testing and measuring equipment to inspect material.
? Maintain inspection and supplier quality records.
? Measure and record critical data for quality reports.
? Process supplier non-conforming material.
? Reports supplier corrective action(s).
? Understand and maintain Safety and Housekeeping Standards (6S).
Working hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:00PM Fri 7-11AM
--High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
--Detail and accuracy of work is essential for this position.
--Preferred experience with Microsoft Word / Excel / Office.
