Business Intelligence Analyst

Our client, a recognized leader in the field, specializes in providing technology-consulting services for the Healthcare Industry. They are seeking a BI Analystin the Seattle area with 3-5 years’ experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and experience using the Microsoft BI stack. The successful BI Analystwill be able to follow a defined career path that will allow you to grow from mostly data analysis focused tasks initially through to complex business analysis and consulting in areas like date warehousing. As you learn the business and the industry, you will be provided increasing challenges and responsibilities.
Your responsibilities, in general terms, will fall into two areas: Initially, you will primarily focus your expertise analysis using T-SQL and SSIS in the creation of customized health care data solutions. As you get to know the customers, theBI Analyst will assume increasingly greater responsibilities and spend more time working with the customer. TheBI Analyst role will expand into areas such as project management, requirements gathering, architecture/design and overall project delivery. Consulting with the client on a regular basis will require superior customer service and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts to non-technical people.
Requirements for the BI Analyst role:
•Technical expertise with SQL: stored procedures, programming, queries
•Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and database engines. Familiarity with SSAS preferred.
•A desire to grow into a client-facing consulting role.
•A background in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is mandatory for the Healthcare Technology Consultant.
•Previous experience working directly with customers to understand complex business requirements would be a plus.
•Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
