MIDFLORIDA is currently seeking Branch Manager candidates for the Vero Beach, FL area.
The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of the branch to ensure accurate and quick service to the membership. The staff must be kept up to date with product and procedure changes. The Manager is responsible for the security of all cash items and safety of the membership and employees. The manager is responsible for keeping the operations of the equipment and building to ensure safety and efficiency. The manager encourages and motivates branch personnel to meet corporate goals and fulfill MIDFLORIDA’s mission.
Member Service – Provide quality member service for new and existing members. Open new accounts, cross sell services and products. Underwrite, approve, and close loans. Assist other lobby staff in loan and new account decisions.
Supervision - Supervise all aspects of the teller line and lobby staff within the branch which includes staff scheduling, assignments of duties, establishment of procedures, directing staff to ensure every member is waited on in a timely manner. Maintaining fast and courteous service.
Sales – You are expected to participate in the Quarterly Sales Incentive program throughout the year. Your success or failure of obtaining growth is driven by you desire for your staff to succeed. You are required to coach and assist your staff in the sale and promotion of credit union products and services. You will be expected to have your tellers and MSO’s achieve their goals. You will be measured on the success of your staff in reaching their individual goals set forth in the incentive program.
Security and Cash Handling – Ensure all employees know and follow all procedures in relation to managing their cash drawers, handling night drop, and balancing the ATM. Ensure all security tapes are maintained. Ensure sufficient cash is maintained in the vault at all times.
Staff Training - Train staff in Service Quality, Operations Procedures, Credit Union Intranet, New Products and Services, and Lending. Ensure staff learns all new policies and procedures as they are introduced.
Auditing - Audit all new accounts, loan documents, and safe deposit box forms prior to being sent to Records Vault.
Facilities - Provide a safe and clean environment for members and staff by overseeing the branch facility. This includes the interior of the building, the exterior of the building, the ATM machine(s), the landscaping and the parking area.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of branch management experience of staff supervision and development, a strong sales and service background, lending experience, knowledge of branch operations, excellent communication skills, a history of successful branch audits and compliance, and the availability to work extended hours and weekends. Registration with NMLS is required. A Bachelor's Degree in a business related field is preferred.
