MA Responsibilities:

·        Direct care provided to patients as directed by a physician and within limitation imposed by State practice acts and training and experience of the assistant.

·        Assist with physical exam of patient, restock exam rooms, ascertain working status of all equipment, prep patient to be seen by physician, vitals, prep patients chart with appropriate documents, schedule diagnostic tests, administer medications and treatments, injections, blood draws, call in prescriptions.

MA Job Requirements:

·        Graduate of a medical assistant program or you are a CMA or RMA.  Back and front office skills required. 

·        MUST have EPIC experience or at least 1 year of Electronic Medical Records and easily trainable for Electronic Privacy Information Center.

·        MINIMUM of 1 year of experience practicing as an MA to apply.
