Description

Our Environmental Field Chemists are responsible for assisting in the collection, identification and packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Our Field Chemists also prepare waste drums for pick-up and delivery at customer sites.

    What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • College degree in chemistry, biology or other natural science preferred

  • Ability to obtain and retain a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire

  • Ability to travel overnight in some locations

  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as alone

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Computer skills are an asset
