Successful candidates will have a proven background in special equipment design, including: developing concept and design models; assembly and detail drawings; and bill of material documentation. Experience applying bearings, pneumatic actuators, motors, drive systems, sensors, and other devices used in automated machinery design, including knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes is required. Candidates must be self-starters, and capable of working independently or as part of a project team with excellent written and spoken communication and problem solving skills.
BSME or equivalent in a related field with at least 3 years of design engineering experience is desired. Experience in designing factory or automated equipment a plus. Proficiency using 3D CAD required, SolidWorks 3D desired, and 2D CAD experience a plus. Experience with MS Office required.
