Mortgage Loan Processor (Full Time)
Longhorn Mortgage is looking for a detail oriented person with strong time management skills that can perform all functions of producing mortgage loan documentation in order for an efficient and effective loan decision to be made.
The Mortgage Loan Processor will develop and maintain a cohesive working relationship with the loan origination efforts of the company and would ensure timely, accurate and high quality service.
Some of the responsibilities are but not limited to:
Analyzes, verifies and completely develops applicant information to support the underwriting and approval process; Generates loan documents and ensures that all necessary loan disclosures are provided to customers; Maintains follow-up on all required documents for loan closings; Examines overall loan documentation to determine applicant's qualifications for approval review; Reviews Automated Underwriting Findings to ensure that all requirements have been satisfied prior to loan approval; Monitors and reports any deficiencies in loan documentation as required by the pre-closing quality control checklist to ensure continued relationships with all applicable investors.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in mortgage loan processing. Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loan programs, state and federal lending regulations. Strong knowledge of automated underwriting programs such as Fanne Mae DO and Freddie Mac LP. Strong knowledge of los Calyx or Encompass. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to work under deadline and under pressure.
