Facilitates the closing of mortgage loans by aiding the mortgage advisor and branch support staff in the progression of loan applications. Ordering, reviewing and analyzing credit and collateral documentation in order to efficiently complete the loan transaction. Duties Include: • Evaluate loan applications (run DU or LP) and necessary documentation • Prepares file for submission to underwriting department • Prepares and compiles all escrow, HOA, insurance and appraisal approval conditions (3rd party sources) • Order final loan documents once mortgage advisor reviews doc order request • Maintain data integrity, strong effective communication with team and positive work ethic
Desired Skills Experience • Strong knowledge of industry loan process, guidelines and compliance (roughly 5 years of experience) • Presently or recently worked as loan processor or underwriter • Familiar with Calyx Point and most Microsoft Office applications • Excellent oral and written communication skills appropriate to a professional work environment
