The Account Executive is responsible for the marketing and sales of security systems, related products and services to new and existing clients within the business- to- business and corporate worlds. The Account Executive is responsible for a minimum monthly quota dependent upon territory assignment.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities



·         Responsible for maximizing revenue growth in assigned account list including meeting and exceeding quota levels
Serving as a first point of contact for client needs

·         Regular activities include prospecting via phone, e-mail and other medium, face- to -face sales calls, follow up letters and e-mails, interaction with clients at Sonitrol sponsored, client sponsored or industry sponsored events

·         Achieving and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Sonitrol line of products approved for sale and their application

·         Entering client data into a CRM system and leveraging the system to generate contacts and sales

·         Project management of all client jobs

·         Accurate completion of paperwork facilitating the installation process

·         Participation in and completion of all applicable training, including ongoing skill and knowledge development beyond initial training



Education and Experience


·         Must have five plus years business- to- business sales experience

·         College degree is an asset

·         Previous outside business to business sales experience

·         High activity in an office based sales environment with the expectation of fulfilling fifteen to twenty calls per week

·         Experience selling for a service industry preferred

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Ability to quickly build and effectively maintain strong business relationships




·         Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation

·         Must be able to pass a drug test and thorough background check
