Retail Salesperson

Position Summary

Shellis is seeking energetic, enthusiastic individuals for the position of Part-time Retail Sales Associate, available to work weekends, morning (5:30am - 2:30 pm) or evening (1:30-10:30 pm) shifts.  Shellis' stores are located at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Associate must be a team player, customer service oriented, enjoy working with the public, and have excellent oral communications skills.

The Associate is responsible for enhancing the Shellis brand by modeling company policies and procedures at the highest level, providing excellent customer service, proficiency in processing sales transactions, and excellent store maintenance. 

Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Operates Point-of-Sales register accurately

2.      Completes transactions with accuracy and promptness

3.      Provides customer service (e.g. friendly greeting, helpful suggestions, assistance with locating specific items, information about services in the airport, etc.)

4.      Provides answers to customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise

5.      Provides store maintenance and keeps the store orderly and with a neat appearance

6.      Ensures all merchandise is properly priced

7.      Communicates product needs to Lead Associate, Team Leader, Supervisor, or Managers

Qualifications

1.      Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

2.      Must be reliable and have high personal integrity

3.      Retail sales experience is required

4.      Apparel merchandising experience desired

5.      Ability to stand during scheduled hours (i.e. kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 5-30 pounds)

6.      Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with ability to interact with diverse personalities

7.      Ability to read, speak, hear, write and calculate business related mathematics

8.      Must complete all requirements for a background check and obtaining an Airport Security Identification Badge
