About the Job

Our Systems Engineering Technicians are primarily responsible for internal and external customer support, commissioning integrated systems, support of installation, troubleshooting, completing service requests, system programming and configuration, and LAN and WAN support.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Ø  Perform commissioning of network based systems.

o   Perform programming and configuration

o   Support Installation Team throughout projects

o   Provide quality control and system functionality testing

o   Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution

Ø  Communication with internal and external clients’.

o   Provide technical support

o   Accountable for ongoing communication with stakeholders

Ø  Provide Internal and External Training.

o   Provide comprehensive client training

o   Assist in the development of internal talent

Ø  Maintenance of network hardware and software.

o   Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor network equipment

o   Create, modify and maintain system databases

o   Perform software support and upgrades.

Ø  Remain up to date on industry standards and technological developments.

Ø  Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation.

o   Create and maintain accurate troubleshooting measures and resources involved in problem resolution

o   Work hours and equipment utilized for each project.

Ø  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications


Knowledge:
- Above  average computer software and network knowledge
- A+ certification
- Network+ certification

 

Talents and Skills:
- High technical aptitude
- Above average troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good communication skills
