We are excited about all that Muller Quaker Dairy has to offer to become widely known as an exceptional place to work.   Muller Quaker Dairy, a joint venture between PepsiCo Inc. with the Theo Müller Group, one of Europe’s most successful and beloved yogurt makers, will produce and sell yogurt and value-added dairy products in the U.S. The joint venture will drive growth for both companies by meeting increased consumer demand for great-tasting, convenient and high-quality dairy products. Also, the two companies have built a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Batavia, New York.

Supply Chain Financial Analyst is responsible for the plant period month end close with main responsibilities for supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, operations reporting and system maintenance for MQD. Position is in Batavia, NY

 

Responsibilities:

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly learn key interactions with the operation

·         Gain understanding of the manufacturing process

·         Ability to develop reports based on identified needs from operations and finance

·         Communication to parent entity Supply Chain Finance Groups

·         Ability to develop and communicate complex financial and operations analysis to plant staff and management

·         Knowledge of SAP or ERP in a super-user role in both manufacturing and finance modules

·         Strong track record of developing monthly detailed analysis on manufacturing variances, product costs and product losses

·         Maintain internal control environment within MQD standards

·         Plant period month end close – direct creation of inputs fed to SAP modules

·         Analysis of results – direct review and creation of reports to support management analysis of results

·         Budgeting and forecasting processes – indirect support of function through direction of manager

·         Operations reporting – direct updating and review of results

·         System maintenance for MQD - direct updating of information based on procedures or best practices.

 

Qualifications:

·         Requires a BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, preferably MBA

·         Minimum 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing

·         Strong analytical experience

·         Experience using SAP manufacturing and/or finance modules

·         Advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

·         Ability to prioritize, execute and demonstrate strong verbal / written communication skills

·         Strong team player with proven analytical ability
