Mercury Insurance, a leader in the auto insurance industry for 50 years, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to become our next Clerical Support Specialist in our Clearwater, FL office.
The Clerical Support Specialist is an entry-level position, and a great opportunity to start your insurance career! This role will allow you to support our Claims Specialists, and provide you the opportunity to learn Mercury's unique customer service and claims handling philosophies. You will perform routine functions such as data entry; generating written correspondence; opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail; maintaining files and documentation; and communicating with customers via phone and email.
Our best candidate will have at least a high school degree or G.E.D. equivalent, and have at least 6 months of prior experience in a general office setting. This position requires good customer service skills, and strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
