The Chautauqua County Health Network is seeking the services of an independent contractor to assist with implementing a work plan to enhance the local built environment to be more conducive to physical activity. Applicant must have a working knowledge of public policy and understand the relationship between health and community design.
Activities will include a focus on partnerships to expand trails, enhance streetscape design, revitalize parks, and promote adoption of Complete Streets principles. This engagement will require approximately 80 hours a month for 8 months and may be extended based upon available funding.
Services include, but not limited to: community outreach, meeting facilitation, data collection and planning, public speaking, marketing, writing and editing. Contractor will be working mostly in Jamestown and Dunkirk, should have relevant professional linkages, and expect to travel throughout the county/region.
